The grooves also help to increase brake pad friction which in turn reduces stopping distances quite significantly. EBC GD Discs are manufactured using a high-quality alloy designed to run up to 900 degrees centigrade (glowing red hot). EBC GD discs are designed for fast road, light race, rally and track day use.
